Dr. Tomlin is a licensed school counselor and has operated at all levels of the educational system working with all grade levels. He is a counselor who understands the current school climate and environment.

Regarding my counseling approach, I take a relational, goal-focused evidence-based therapeutic approach, incorporating positive psychology principles and practices to help my clients change by constructing solutions. I specialize in taking a trauma-focused approach with individuals who have experienced a traumatic event. I have experience helping children and adolescents process big emotions and adults struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I am committed to providing a safe place that encourages and empowers you to begin a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. My job is to help facilitate positive change in you for improved emotional and social functioning, to help improve your feelings of satisfaction and overall quality of life.
