ABOUT
Dr. Jonathan J. Tomlin is a traumatologist, licensed professional counselor, and nationally certified counselor specializing in diverse modalities, including strength-based coaching, existentialism, trauma, multicultural awareness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Dr. Tomlin's extensive educational background has given him the strong foundation he hosts today—earning an Ed.D in Community Care Counseling focusing on Traumatology. In addition, he graduated with a master's degree of education in School and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. During his undergrad studies in religion and psychology, he earned professional life and business coaching certificates.
In addition to helping individuals with mental health counseling, Dr. Tomlin has extensive experience assisting CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals in strategic planning for growth and sustainability and creating and revising different business operation tasks. His career began helping people as a professional counselor at various mental health agencies, including Mercy Medical Center and numerous local hospitals, and working as a school counselor in Philadelphia.
Dr. Tomlin has held numerous counseling roles throughout his professional career, with experience as a K 12 School Counselor and Life Coaching, including Behavioral Therapy and Couples/Family/Child Counseling.

Tomlin holds counseling licenses in multiple states, including Pennsylvania, Florida, Vermont, and Virginia, enabling him to provide expert counseling services across these jurisdictions. Moreover, he possesses international certification to deliver life coaching services, extending his professional expertise and guidance to clients worldwide.
Dr. Tomlin also boasts a distinguished record of delivering counseling services to a diverse global clientele, spanning regions such as Russia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Egypt, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. HOW DOES ONLINE COUNSELING WORK?
Online counseling works the same as any typical session. At your initial appointment, you will receive an email with an invitation to do a video conference via the internet. If you choose not to accept the video conference, I will call to establish a connection with you.
HOW LONG UNTIL I CAN GET AN APPOINTMENT?
You can schedule in as little as 24 hours. I am currently accepting new clients for daytime availability.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING AN ONLINE SESSION?
Your online session will be very similar to the session you would have in the office. You will speak privately over a secure line building the skills you need to live your best life. Once connected, we will proceed with the individualized treatment plan we collaboratively established.
